London, Stóra-Bretland

Our first and second floor apartment is in a late Victorian house. It has been re-modelled and is contemporary in feel. We have a large bedroom with a 150cm × 200cm bed, and a smaller sitting room / bedroom, up a second flight of wooden stairs, in the converted attic area, with a comfortable 160cm x 200cm sofa-bed. There are two shower rooms with wc - one en-suite and one upstairs next to the sitting room / bedroom. There is a large open plan living and dining room with a well-equipped kitchen, a terrace room, and a study room. We have a private 15m2 roof terrace with access to the (very) large garden which we share with the 4 other flats. The apartment is double-glazed, has good wifi access and central heating. We have many art books, ceramics, paintings and cds. It is very special here, very peaceful, yet very central to all that London has to offer.

N.B. We prefer SIMULTANEOUS exchanges only. This is our only home, but we look for parity, not necessarily first homes.
We do not accept exchanges where there are children. Our flat is not at all suitable for children. We have 2 beds, one of which is a sofa-bed in 2 rooms. The flat is ideal for a couple, but it can accommodate 2 couples. We will NOT respond if your offer requires pet-care (I am VERY Allergic to cat fur) OR if it is for a small second home. We like cities. Andy is 1m 93cm and he appreciates a large double bed. We are non-smokers and we do not permit smoking in the apartment.

Nous sommes surtout intéressés par des échanges en villes européens que nous pouvons atteindre par chemin de fer (Eurostar / TGV, etc.) Nous serions ravis de trouver le parfait (grande et calme) échange à Paris. Généralement nous préférons ne pas échanger avec les résidences secondaires ni avec les maisons de vacances - nous essayons de trouver parité avec notre appartement.

Nous ne pouvons pas envisager des échanges non simultanés - nous n'avons qu’une appartement. Malheureusement notre appartement n’est pas du tout adapté pour les jeunes enfants. Nous n'avons qu'un lit 'queen-size' dans la chambre principale et un canapé-lit 'king-size' dans la chambre d'étude, donc deux couples pourraient être ok. Nous sommes ouverts aux offres - mais nous ne répondrons pas si votre offre contient les jeunes enfants, soins aux animaux (je suis allergique aux chats) et aussi si elle ne contient pas de photos. Aussi Andy a 193 cm et il n’aime pas dormir en diagonale - nous préférons les échanges avec un grand lit!
