Big all-on-one level house around the garden
The perfect place to discover Brittany cultur and lanscapes!
Our house is located in a quiet cul-de-sac near the town center of Lannion. All on one level, it is built around a garden filled with trees and flowers, which changes color with the seasons.
We are almost finished completely renovating it after several years of work. All the rooms overlooking the garden have large windows. At home, we're always outside, even when we're inside!
The house is bright as soon as the sun comes out, but the century-old beech tree bordering it to the east keeps the rooms cool even in the height of summer.
Lannion is a central starting point for visiting the Pink Granite Coast, one of Brittany's jewels:

Notre maison se trouve dans une impasse près du centre ville de Lannion. De plain-pied, elle s'articule autour d'un jardin arboré et fleuri qui change de couleurs au gré des saisons.
Nous avons presque fini de la rénover intégralement après plusieurs années de travaux. Toutes les pièces donnant sur le jardin bénéficient de grandes fenêtres. Chez nous, on est tout le temps dehors, même quand on est dedans !
La maison est lumineuse dès que le soleil se montre, mais le hêtre centenaire qui la borde à l'Est conserve de la fraicheur dans les chambres même en plein été.
Lannion est un point de départ central pour visiter la Cote de Granit Rose, un des joyaux de la Bretagne :

About the neighborhood
Our cul-de-sac street is very quiet. The houses were built to avoid any overlooked views. Our neighbors are very friendly and helpful when needed.
Less than 200 meters away is the Church of Brelevenez, with its famous staircase (142 steps). The town center of Lannion (population 20,000) begins at the bottom of the stairs.
You can leave the house to reach the towpath and, from there, walk to the mouth of the Leguer River, and therefore to the sea. A greenway takes you by bike to Louannec and Perros Guirec on the sea side or to the castle of Tonquedec on the land side.
The Pink Granite Coast, with its beaches and improbable balanced granite rocks, is 10 minutes away. For notable towns:
Tréguier: 20 minutes
Pontrieux and the Château de la Roche Jagu: 30 minutes
Guingamp, the Château de Pierre II, the historic prison: 30 minutes
Paimpol and Beauport Abbey: 50 minutes
Morlaix: 50 minutes

Lannion is served by the TGV train from Paris.
Notre impasse est très calme. Les maisons ont été construites de façon à éviter tout vis à vis. Nos voisins sont très sympathiques et aidants au besoin.
A moins de 200 m se situe l'Eglise de Brelevenez, avec ses celèbres escaliers (142 marches). Le centre ville de Lannion (20 000 habitants) débute en bas de l'escalier.
Il est possible de partir de la maison pour rejoindre le chemin de halage et, de là, aller jusqu'à l'embouchure du Leguer, donc à la mer, à pied. Une voie verte vous emmène à vélo jusqu'à Louannec et Perros Guirec coté mer ou jusqu'au chateau de Tonquedec coté terre.
La Cote de Granit Rose, ses plages et ses improbables rochers de granite en équilibre sont à 10 minutes.
