This is our wonderful city apartment - we think of it as a hotel apartment as it is small, bright, friendly in a quiet neighbourhood and with all amenities possible. It is our second home, and we always enjoy staying here when we are in Copenhagen.
The apartment is located on a quiet square with very little traffic and pedestrian areas. Just one street away you find the city canal with a pier for sunbathing and swimming available. We also have a small restaurant and a delightful Asian takeaway a few minutes away as well as a supermarket and a bakery.
The apartment has two bedrooms, the master bedroom and an office with a loft bed suitable for two persons. A sofa in the office might also be used for sleeping. The kitchen is integrated in the general living area, which dining and living areas, and we have a large'ish balcony.
We normally move around on bike; there are plenty of city-bikes available nearby, but a busstop is just across the street and the metro and the local transportation is only 10 min. walk away. There is parking in the basement.
The area is very close to the famous new area called "Aarhusgade kvarteret" where you find lots of restaurants, cafes, a cinema, swimming, rental of water equipment etc. We are also part of the area called Osterbro with lots of quaint shops and dining opportunities. The Little Mermaid and the Copenhagen Citadel is down the street - this is where we walk our dog.
