Our two story house is located in a beautiful suburban area with nature all around it but only a 15 minute drive from Reykjavik. On the lower floor is a living room, a dining room, a bathroom with a shower, two bedrooms with queen sized beds, and a well equipped kitchen. From the kitchen you can walk out to a private porch with a roofed pergola, a BBQ, a hut tub and a set of outdoor table and chairs. Attached to the lower floor is also a garage with a bathroom, pool table, a dart board and a gaming console. On the upper floor there are 3 bedrooms. One is a master bedroom with a king size bed and the other two are kids rooms (one has an extra guest bed). The upper floor also contains an office space, a second living room and a laundry room with a washer and a dryer.
We started building our home in 2017 and we still have some things left to do. The bedrooms, living rooms, laundry room and downstairs bathroom are completely finished but we will try and upload new photos as the work progresses.

Our home is situated within walking distance from some really nice outdoor areas with small mountains and waterfalls along with some outdoor play areas. We also have a great outdoor and indoor thermal swimming pool with slides, hot tubs, and sauna only 7 km away. If you like animals we have a small petting zoo and a horse rental 5 km in the other direction. There are also a few grocery stores, restaurants and a golf course located in our small town.
If you want to go and visit Reykjavik the bus stop is a two minute walk and you are also free to use our car if that has been arranged. Iceland offers a variety of experiences and tours and your are welcome to contact us if you need help in planning your visit to our lovely island in the north.
