We have a nice neighborhood and we are close to the centre of Bemmel with some shops (HEMA, Kruidvat, local clothing shops, icecream shop), restaurants - Italian, several local/Dutch, Chinese - and you have several supermarkets, the closest being Jumbo at a 3 minutes walk. There is a swimming lake and a park with children's play ground both at 5 minutes distance. At the other side of the road, a primary school is located and children can also play there.

Een warm, sfeervol huis waar wij ons gelijk op ons gemak voelden. Door de presentatie was dit goed in te schatten. Mooie omgeving. Het onderlinge contact was prima.
Leuk ingericht huis, met eigen kunst aan de muur, dichtbij Noordwijk aan zee en strand.
The house is beautifully authentic from the outside and nicely renovated on the inside with airco on all levels. We had a nice time, good communication beforehand and there was a lot of information on regional trips. We were a bit surprised that our swapper went home earlier than expected because of sudden extra work, without first checking with us, leaving the cat with lots of food for the resting 5 days. Besides his change of plan, we could stay and it was all good. Guenrouet is a small village near the Nancy- Brest canal in a very beautiful region, so great place to be if you like walking, cycling and the coast.
