Family house just outside Ljubljana
A 15-year-old passive house located in a small village, surrounded by nature and close to the forest.
Slovenia is a small country — within a two-hour drive you can reach the borders of Croatia, Austria, and Italy. This makes it easy to explore many historical, traditional, and sacral sites, as well as enjoy the mountains, lakes, and the Adriatic Sea.
Two cars are available: a small car with 5 seats and a larger one with 7 seats. Motorway driving is free of charge when using the larger car.
The house has two floors and includes a garage, three bathrooms, four bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, and an office. It is surrounded by a garden, a terrace with a BBQ, and an outdoor seating area — perfect for relaxing.
We share our home with two very friendly cats, Sleepy and Greta. There is also an aquarium in the living room with colorful fish, adding a calm and cozy atmosphere.

A countryside village just outside the city, yet very close (2 km) to local amenities such as a market, post office, restaurants, playgrounds, and sports fields.
The village consists of only 15 houses and is very quiet and peaceful, surrounded by nature and forest. In the center of the village there is a farm where you can see farm animals, and you can also try horse riding.

Nice house in a nice country. Very wellcome family and neighbours. A very good swap.
It was a wonderfull swap with a nice family, in a very nice house in a nice area. Everything was perfect. Tatjana and Marko the owners was so kind because due to the covid (august 2020) they prefer stay in their first flat and not come in France in our house but accept we come in their second house in the Vipava valley. Thank to you and you are wellcome at home when you are ready. Superbe échange avec une famille très sympa qui quelques temps avant le départ n'a pas souhaité venir chez nous à cause du covid (août 2020) ce que nous avons parfaitement compris, mais qui a accepté que nous venions chez eux dans leur maison secondaire alors que eux restait dans leur résidence principale. (Nous avions déjà réservé l'avion). Nous avons profité d'une très jolie maison typique, rustique et confortable très bien située au milieu des vignes et en pleine campagne dans un petit village viticole au milieu de la Vipava valley région très touristique de la Slovénie.

Family of five
We are a family of five: parents Alenka and Gorazd and daughters Manca, Neža and Jerneja. We are active, sociable and love spending time together. We prefer to spend our free time on sports, nature trips and exploring new places at home and abroad. We often play board games together, since we value pleasant evenings with our family.
The eldest daughter Manca has already moved away and lives with her boyfriend, but she still visits us often. Neža and Jerneja are still at home.
Our family is open, respectful and responsible – at home and when traveling, we treat other people's homes with care, just as we would like others to treat ours.
