Hello!
We are starting to look for an echange in summer 2026. One of our wishes would be the South of France or the North-East of Spain around Barcelona.
Graz is the second biggest city of Austria. And we live near the center (15 minutes walk) in a 19th century house. The apartment (125 m2) is equipped with all household fascillities, a balcony and a small garden.
The center of the city of Graz has become part of the Cultural World Heritage and our town was the Cultural Capital of Europe in the year 2003.
It has a beautiful old center. From Renaissance architecture, beautiful courts to lovely parks you will find various things. You can really spent wonderful time in Graz and in the surrounding landscape with mountains, wine yards, castels and monasteries, lakes and thermal springs. The city and the landscape is among other things perfect for biking.
Graz is located at the south of the Alpes and sourrounded by mountains. In a few minutes you can be in perfect hiking areas. Towards Slovenia (50 km away) you have a beautiful hilly landscape called "Styrian Toscana" which is also very nice for walking, biking, swimming in lakes and rivers.

Stefanie & Albert Ellensohn waren wunderbare Tauschpartner, alles war so liebevoll vorbereitet, die Wohnung wirklich wunderschön und inspirierend, wir haben die Zeit in Salzburg sehr genossen, vorallem ist die Lage sehr gut, sozusagen im Herzen Salzburgs, sehr empfehlenswert!
Nous sommes désolés : nous ne pouvons rien dire de leur maison car nous n'y sommes pas encore allés. Des ennuis de santé ont modifié notre projet et nous faisons un échange non simultané. Anton et Margarethe ont été d'une grande souplesse et gentillesse face à ce changement arrivé au cours du mois précèdent. Ils ont accepté facilement d'aller dans une autre maison, qui avait ses avantages (vue sur la mer) mais aussi ses inconvénients (confort moindre). Ils nous ont dit avoir fait un très bon séjour. Nous devons nous rendre chez eux l'été prochain seulement.

We are currenty 3 people in the apartment: Margarethe, 54, and Anton, 55 - both working as directors of an art centre and curators, and Clementine, right now 15 years and attending a high school with a focus on fashion design. Our older children Constantin and Valerie have their own apartments. And we do have two lovely cats, Coco and Nala :-)
