Dove Cottage is located in rural St. Erme near Truro in Cornwall, SW England. Car is essential. We are happy to receive offers from anywhere in the world for long or short exchanges.
Dove Cottage was once a wing of Resugga Farmhouse but is now separated. Probably about 200 years old, Dove Cottage is fully modernised. It lies on the southern most aspect of the farmhouse and the neighbouring buildings and so has unrestricted rural views over farmland.
St Erme is only about 10 minutes drive from Truro, the cathedral town of Cornwall, but is very rural - a car is essential.
Whilst small, Dove Cottage is comfortable and has a well equipped kitchen diner, a sitting room with wood burner, downstairs cloakroom, two double bedrooms and a shower room. The main bedroom has a 5ft double bed and the guest room can be arranged as two single beds or one 5ft double bed.

It is approximately 15 minutes by car to the north and south coasts of Cornwall.
There are numerous National Trust properties to visit in Cornwall as well as endless rural and coastal walks.

FR090686Un vrai cottage anglais en pleine campagne mais pas isolé. Une maison confortable et accueillante. Elle est proche de Truro et des deux côtés de la Manche et de la mer celtique. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Pam et Graham. Leur maison est très bien située et permet de faire de nombreuses visites en Cornouailles. Les échanges entre nous ont été faciles. Malheureusement nous n’avons pas pu nous rencontrer mais notre fille qui les a accueillis et nos voisins qui les ont croisés nous ont dit que c’étaient des personnes charmantes. Nous y retournerions volontiers.

FR040407Nous avions un peu peur du fait que la maison soit isolée d'une grande ville et de tout aéroport. Le contact avec Graham et Pam a été excellent, ils ont été très réactifs (plus que moi !) et vraiment attentionnés, adorables. Au final, leur maison est adorable, dans une région magnifique à visiter (des monuments Unesco, des plages et des côtes incroyables), nous espérons vraiment y revenir un peu plus longtemps car c'est un vrai havre de paix et de bonheur. Graham et Pam cultivent le bonheur et cela se ressent, on adore !

The location is beautiful and convenient, set in rolling countryside, and easy distance to both north and south coasts. The house is comfortable, pretty and has more than everything you need. We couldn't recommend it enough.
