Light and airy triplex in Brussels
Our apartement is a triplex located on the last three floors of a tupical Brussels town house in Saint-Gilles/Forest.
The first floor is filled with light and comprises an open kitchen, a terrasse with a bench and a table perfect for apéros and sunsets, and a living room area with a piano, a nice reading nook and a projector for movie nights.
The main bedroom and guest bedroom are on the second floor, with the two bathrooms. The last floor is a very big office space under the roof filled with light.

We live at the border between Saint-Gilles and Forest, two minutes away from the Saint-Gilles town hall where there are lots of bars and restaurants as well as a great food market on Mondays. We love our neighbourhood which comprises quiet streets with gorgeous Art Nouveau town houses in the typical Brussels style, lots of great bars restaurants and cafés, and two parcs (with each their own guinguette). The métro stop downstairs from our place takes you to the historical center of Brussels in 15 min and the train station in 10. There are also two bus lines and two tram lines less than 5 min away from the apartement.

David & Marianne
We are two French 30-something expats who have have been living in Brussels since 2018 (for Marianne, who works a the European Commission) and 2024 for David (who teaches French litterature on the other side of the border with France). We fell in love with the Saint-Gilles/Forest neighbourhood, with its calm and beautiful streets with Art Nouveau houses, its cafés and restaurants, and its two nice parks. We like to discover new places at a slow pace, wondering how our day to day life would look like in places we visit for a weekend or a week, and we therefore love to stay in real lived-in apartement in nice and chill neighbourhoods :)
