Marble Hill, Irlanda

We have a beautiful cottage in Marble Hill near Dunfanaghy Co Donegal in the North West of Ireland overlooking the ocean.This semi-detached property has 3 bedrooms and stunning views. it is approximately 2h20mins drive from Belfast. The house is over a 100 years old , but was fully renovated 5 years ago. Although the house is our second home it is finished to a very high standard with every thing you would need: TV/ DVD, Dishwasher, Washer/ Dryer, Nespresso machine. There is an outdoor charging facility for electric vehicles.
The area has beautiful walks, the blue flag Marble Hill beach is 10 minutes walk from the cottage. There are 2 local surf schools, horse riding , an 18 hole links golf course and a selection of excellent bars and restaurants offering great craic, music and good food.
The newly re opened 4 star Shandon Hotel (see link below) is on the walk back from the Beach and is a great location to have a meal with spectacular views, or a pint of Guinness by the fire ! It has a wonderful Spa & Swimming Pool

Our house is within a 2 hour drive of the wonderful North Antrim Coast including the Unesco World heritage site of the Giants Causeway, Bushmills Distillery, and many of the locations used in the Game Of Thrones.
Donegal was voted by National Geographic as one of the best world destinations in 2017
Lonely Planet has voted Northern Ireland's Causeway Coast and Belfast as best place in the world to visit in 2018
