Wonderful Woodenhouse in the countryside near Salzburg, Austria
Our House is near to Salzburg (20 km from the center), in the countryside, directly on a small mountain. It´s located in a small, quiet private road with just a few houses. We have a tall garden and a bathing pond in it.
In this area you can find al lot space and possibilities for hiking, cycling, climbing and swimming. Even sayling on some lakes nearby is possible. The Alps are reachable in half an our.
Also the border to Germany - Bavaria is quiet near (5 km).

Salzburg is a very nice and interesting city. You can find there old and famous historical places, experience a plenty of different cultural events, modern art or old traditional austrian ceremonies.

Also the border to Germany - Bavaria is quiet near (around 10km). With Berchtesgaden and the famous Königsee. Within the radius of 50 km you can reach the Chiemsee (the bavarian sea) with Herrenchiemsee Palace built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria which is inspired by Palace of Versailles.

US1005775This area of Austria is easy to travel in and the people and their home are extraordinarily kind. The home in Waidach is perfect for a large family. We are a family of four and we each had our own rooms and plenty of everything we needed to have a perfect exchange. Austria is a beautiful and welcoming country and I couldn’t recommend staying outside of Salzburg enough. We went all over the parks and lakes and even paraglided in the Alps. Everything is lovely there. Highly recommend.
