House with beautiful views in North Wales village near castles, mountains and sea.
Hello! We are Dave (55) Wendy (47) our son Dafydd (15) and daughter Gwen (12). We're both teachers.
We live in a village in the Conwy Valley, just outside the Snowdonia National Park. In the village there is a pub, which also serves food and a small shop which sells basic groceries.
Our house has beautiful views and is very comfortable, with open plan dining room / sitting room / kitchen, a double bedroom with private shower room, two kids' bedrooms, a bathroom and a second small sitting room with sofa bed.
Facilities in the house include: washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, microwave, wi-fi, Playstation 3, dvd/blu-ray, piano, guitars.
In the garden there is a large, completely private, south and west-facing terrace with beautiful views over the village and surrounding countryside.
A couple of years ago, North Wales was named as Lonely Planet's fourth best region in the world to visit. There are so many activities on offer. We are only four miles from Surf Snowdonia, a man-made surf centre. Also, Bounce Below and Zipworld are within very easy reach.

Our village is situated about 10km from the north Wales coast. We have many beautiful beaches within reach, especially on the Llyn Peninsula and on the Isle of Anglesey.
Locally, there is the historic town of Conwy with its impressive medieval castle - a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site -
and there are also many other fine examples of medieval castles all over north Wales. There is also the town of Llandudno, a traditional Victorian seaside resort.
There are lots of opportunities for climbing, hiking, mountain biking, canoeing, sailing, golfing etc. locally.

The cities of Chester, Liverpool and Manchester can be reached within an hour and a half, and Dublin is only a 99minute sail from Holyhead. London is only three hours by train from the nearest mainline station (15 min drive).

An astonishing location, we appreciated very much the house!
Familie van vier. Huis was in orde en mooi gelegen. Prachtige uitzichten. We merken wel dat wanneer we met de UK ruilen, we ons huis altijd iets minder proper terug aantreffen in vergelijking met onze andere ruilervaringen. Maar verder alles prima.
