An old farmhouse on the countryside close to Lund, Malmö and Copenhagen
The house was originally built in 1891. It has a beautiful large garden with a pool, a garden house and many terraces and places to hang out. It´s suitable for families and couples and can host up to six guests. It´s newly renovated and has all the modern facilities, yet it still has the feeling of an old Scanian farmhouse. The house lies by itself, surrounded only by fields. Yet very close to shops and restaurants in the medieval city of Lund, and with busstops to take you there just a few hundred meters away.
There are bikes, a scooter and a car available.
Easy access from Copenhagen airport (50 min by train directly to Lund, plus a short bus-/taxitrip)

About the neighborhood
Even though our house is in the quiet countryside, it´s very close to urbanity. The university town of Lund is just a few kilometers away. You can reach it by car, bus or bike. It has shops, restaurants, nice parks and of course the famous medival cathedral - Domkyrkan.
From Lund central station it´s very easy to take the train to; Malmö (10 min), Helsingborg (30 min) or Copenhagen (50 min).
The nearby municipality of Lomma holds a nice sandy beach. In Bjärred just 10 min. by car or 20 min. by bike, there is a nice seabath with sauna and a fine cafe.
Lots of other things to do and places to see in a close distance.

The house and garden are marvellous and the location is perfect to discover Scania and East of Denmark. The family is really sweet, and we felt truly welcome. A wonderful exchange!
