About the neighborhood
We live in a pleasant, quiet area.
The river Marne (400 meters from the house) surrounds our town and it is nice walking, biking on its banks.
Within 5 minutes walk we have restaurants, numerous shops, cinema, supermarket and a big typical market twice a week.
The metro station (RER - Réseau Express Régional) is also within 6 minutes walk. It takes you directly in 20 minutes to CENTRAL PARIS (Nation, Gare de Lyon, Châtelet Les Halles, Charles de Gaulle-Etoile, La Défense) ; one train every 3 mn in the morning, 1 train every 10 mn in the week-end.
We live close to Eurodisneyland.

Alles war wie in Intervac beschrieben. Die Tauschpartnerin ist super, der Kontakt im Vorfeld per Mail / Telefon war sehr hilfreich. Im Haus gab es zahlreiches Informationsmaterial zum Haus und zur Umgebung. Das Haus selbst war liebevoll vorbereitet (Betten, Blumen, Menü stand bereit). Der Garten mitten in der Großstadt ist eine kleine Oase der Erholung. Die Anbindung mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ist bestens. Eine tolle Erfahrung!

Isabelle, sa famille et ses amis ont été des invités phénoménaux. Ils étaient des gens gentils et ils ont traité nos maisons et notre voiture avec beaucoup d’attention et de soin. Ils étaient également très détaillés. C’était très facile de faire un échange avec eux, on a eu une très bonne communication, et leur maison est merveilleuse. Elle est très bien reliée à tous les sites touristiques de Paris en une demi-heure de train, mais au même temps, le petit village avec des jolies maisons ont un charme particulier. Nous nous avons promenés le long de la rivière et dans les rues et il y avait beaucoup de charme, restaurants, marché le dimanche.
We had a great exchange with Isabelle and her lovely house in the outskirts of Paris. The house was nice, clean, quiet and comfortable and very easily accessible to/from public transportation. Isabelle was a great host, easy to connect with and provided us with all information we needed.

I am retired. I used to work in international trade and therefore I love travelling and specially cultivate relations with foreign people.
I like also reading and going to the cinema.
I go hiking a lot and I also lead either cultural walks in Paris or in the surroundings.
My town is in a surprising and pleasant situation as it is all included in a loop of the river Marne.
My daughter Anaïs is no longer living nor travelling with me ; she has just completed a PhD thesis in Vienna.
I usually travel with friends, or family (we are at least 2 persons sleeping in 2 seperate rooms).
