A bright duplex home in Menorca
Our house is in Alaior, a village 12 km from the island-capital of Mahon and 12 km from the airport. The nearest beaches are Son Bou (6km) and Arenal de'n Castell (8km). From Alaior you can easily discover the whole island by car or public transport.
We live in this house, so the house is fully equipped and has all the conveniences: wifi, washing machine, dishwasher, pellet stove, etc.
Alaior is a charming village (pop. 9000), not very touristic, and here you can find all the facilities you need: library, bank, post office, shops and supermarkets.
As we are both teachers, we only travel during our school breaks, this is mainly Christmas, Easter and the summer break in July and August. Menorca is a very demanded place during the summer, but it can also be a great destination in the low season, to enjoy trekking or nature. We are open for any proposals.
Non-simultaneous exchanges: In summer we have a second home so we can move out of the house most of the time.

Alaior is the perfect town to discover Menorca. You are near everything and you don't have the bustle of the coastal resorts. When visiting Menorca, hiring a car is almost essential as there are many places difficult to reach through public transport.
