A beautiful barn conversion near the historic town of Morpeth and close to various coasts and castles.
Large 3 bedroomed barn conversion with lots of nice features. All rooms are light and airy with lovely views. The cottage sits in a lovely court yard with very friendly neighbours. Only 1 mile away from the historic town of Morpeth and close to an abundance of very beautiful scenic places to visit with castles and magnificent coastlines.We are within easy reach of the beautiful coastline at Tynemouth or Bamburgh with many historic castles. Within 30 minutes of the Roman Wall, Keilder Forest Lake and observatory and the border into Scotland is less than an hour away and Edinburgh only one and a half hours . We also have good road and rail links into Newcastle which has excellent shopping facilities and theatres. The nearby Alnwick Castle and Gardens in Northumberland is where they filmed part of Harry Potter (Hogwarts) www.alnwickcastle.com is about 20 minutes away.
The car ferry runs between Newcastle and Amsterdam and is about 30 minutes from the cottage. Newcastle Airport is about 20 minutes away.

The Northumbrian Gathering is three exciting jam-packed days celebrating the county's traditions, with concerts, street events, dances and exhibitions.
Within a short distance of Morpeth lie wonderful country estates and gardens like Wallington House and Belsay Hall, Castle and Gardens. Druridge Bay, with its magnificent seven-mile stretch of golden sand and dunes is only 20 minutes away by car. Also nearby is Woodhorn Museum Archives and Country Park where you can explore the rich industrial heritage that this part of Northumberland is very proud of.
