House near CLISSON, France along the river "la Sèvre"
Our house is located in a nice countryside by a river. With a good weather, it is possible to eat on the south terrace. The garden is very large with lots of flowers and trees. The swimming pool is available from May to the beginning of October. You can take a walk along the river up to Clisson. There you will find both medieval and Italian architecture. Two rivers run through Clisson and sightseeing is marvellous by day and night. The history of Clisson is very rich and there are many cultural activities. A supermarket is at 5 minutes by feet. You can use our car to visit Britanny in a tour of only a couple of days. Nantes is 30 mins away, Angers 1 hour and so are the beaches (Vendée, Pornic, la Baule). The Mont Saint-Michel and Saint-Malo are 3 hours away, the Loire Vallee Castles 3 hours by car and Paris at 2 and 1/2 hours by train via Nantes.

We are very flexible. We can exchange one or two weeks especially from march to the end of may and from the middle of august up to november. We are not free on summer (july and august). |

Our house is pleasant in each season. All is very quiet even the supermarket is at 300 meters. Every day is different with the river and trees : new colors, birds, wild animals... The neighbors are very pleasant and every field is very large.
Sheep on the field are independant. You can eat eggs of hens.
Several towns are close : Nantes, Angers, Vannes, la Rochelle. They are very interesting to visit.

Wir hatten coronabedingt eine sehr lange Vorlaufzeit und waren schon 2 Jahre in Kontakt. Unsere Tauschpartner waren sehr kooperativ und einigten sich letzten Endes mit uns auf einen Termin, der nicht primär der von ihnen bevorzugte war. Die Beschreibung auf der Intervac-Seite entsprach den Gegebenheiten des angebotenen Heims. Unsere Tauschpartner zeigten sich äußerst gastfreundlich und zuvorkommend - wir lernten uns am Abend vor unserer Heimreise noch persönlich kennen, weil sie früher zurückkehrten. Sie hatten uns auch angeboten, auch nach ihrer Ankunft noch länger zu bleiben, was wir dankend ablehnten.
Échange très agréable avec une famille sympathique.

We realized our first exchanging house 43 years ago. Our first inscription in Intervac was on 1991.
We were teachers researchers in economics and sociology to teach at food engineers.
We travelled very much for job and for pleasure. We have two sons : the first one makes belgian beers at Pornic. His wife is belgian. They have two nice and pretty girls. The second one lives near Paris after India and China... His wife is russian and they have a lovely girl.
Now we are retired even but always very actif.
We like to work in our large garden (12000 m2) and travel.
